❌STILL MISSING, since Oct 23rd from MERVILLE, Vancouver Island, BC❌

Buster and Blue are still missing. The likelihood of finding them alive and well dwindles more each day. I’m trying to remain hopeful but it’s a tough go and meanwhile life goes on. They are in my thoughts constantly. Knowing so many people out there are watching and listening for any information is helping me to keep some hope that one day there will be closure. Thank you everyone for your support and concern.
♦️♦️Nov 25th I got a call from a woman today who was traveling on the 3:20 Oct 24th ferry sailing from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay. She states that she interacted with an older man, approximately 6’2” tall wearing a white with blue trim track suit jacket, who had two dogs with him resembling Blue and Buster. She did not see him in a vehicle. He was in the dog area on lower deck. I have a call in to RCMP to request footage from that sailing. If anyone was on that ferry and recalls seeing this man and two dogs please contact me.♦️♦️
Description:
BLUE: Aussiedoodle, age 19 months, 23” at shoulder, 60lbs, lean/tall standard poodle type body shape and hair. Body hair medium length, fluffy/slightly curly. Color blue merle, with white chest and white legs. Back of rear right leg is all black. Hair on head is long and fluffy. Eyes are marbled blue and brown. Face was trimmed (no mustache/beard) at time of disappearance. Black nose with small pink mark near right nostril. Wearing blue collar with tags. BLUE would be VERY pregnant by now. Due Dec 1st
BUSTER: Aussiedoodle, age 15 months, 23” tall at shoulder. 60lbs. Stocky muscular build. Silvery brown/beige hair. Body hair is medium length and curly. Hair on head is long/fluffy looks like he has blonde highlights. Eyes amber gold. Has long mustache and beard. Liver colored nose. Wearing red collar with tags.
Nov 20th, Today marks 4 weeks that my dogs have been missing. The search for them has been extensive. The daily heartache of not knowing where they are or what happened has been exhausting.
Many kind people have helped tremendously. Just knowing that so many people are looking out for them daily is comforting. I have met so many of my neighbors while out searching who have been so understanding and allowed me to look under/in their outbuildings and search their property.
I have also met neighbors who have not been so kind.
There have been no confirmed sightings of either dog. Thru investigation all leads have turned out to be other dogs.
The only explanation is that someone has taken them or they are deceased.
Please watch for ads selling dogs that look similar. If Blue is alive and puppies are born, puppies will be ready to be sold around the end of January. If you’re looking at buying a doodle - please ask to see the parents. Any reputable Breeder should willingly allow this.
If you hear any rumors of dogs being shot, please ask questions. I would hope that anyone who would do such a thing would at least have the decency to inform me.
People talk and eventually I will find out. Why prolong the agony?
