STILL MISSING - KAMLOOPS BC - NOV. 9 / 19

A Kamloops truck driver continues to hold out hope he will be reunited with his "little buddy."

Dexter Laming says his travelling companion Jake went missing from Breamer Drive in Kamloops about 9 p.m. Nov. 9.

He was spotted a few hours later on Hector Drive, however, Laming was unable to find the pooch.

He issued a $200 reward for the safe return of Jake, and now, a friend has offered to double that to $400.

In a recent post to Facebook, Laming said he has had some tips that haven't panned out.

"So, thanks again to all those who looked and keep tabs on posts on FB Thursday evening when it was reported that Jake had been seen, but unfortunately it was a different dog.

"Now to the troll that called me today, called himself Kyle, claiming his sister has had Jake since Nov 10. If there was a reward or not, I said why so long to call?... Oh, no cell service until now... OK, if you have Jake I will reward you $200 on delivery... no, half up front... $200 cash for Jake, straight across... he hangs up... all from a blocked number."
