REUNITED AFTER FIVE YEARS — In a year of social distancing, some magical reunions are still taking place in our city. Yesterday, community peace officers reunited this pup with its owners after a five-year separation.

The officers picked up the stray in north Calgary. Thankfully, the animal was microchipped and we were able trace it back to an owner who had placed a lost report back in 2015.

This dog and its owner have now been reunited. What a great example of the importance of microchipping your pet.
