PSA - FLED INFO - MAY 17, 2020

WE WANT TO BE OF ASSISTANCE TO OWNERS AND FINDERS

We (FLED) have been contacted by several members wondering why we are not posting lost or found dogs from the Victoria area, as well as surrounding areas.
The answer is simple. We are not hearing from owners who have lost their dogs, or those who have found dogs, and we find that very odd.
Most owners want their missing dogs posted with everyone and on every site to get the word out and the assistance from organization such as FLED, to find their lost pet. As well, finders usually want the dog they have found posted everywhere.
We are not sure why this is happening, but if there is an issue with those who have tried to post with us, we need to know.
We would like to have owners know that FLED is very active in the lower Vancouver Island area, as well as up island, and are as active in 2020, as we always have been from the first day we brought a pet search and rescue organization to Vancouver Island, in January 2013.
