DOZER FROM TCH ACCIDENT - NANAIMO / DUNCAN - MAR. 17, 2021

DOZER (AKA: ROLLOVER) RETURNED TO OWNER

We have finally figured out who the rightful owner is of Dozer and he has been safely returned to Ashley.

This was a very confusing case, and there was no way we were just giving this boy back to just anyone, as there were so many red flags.

There were red flags, starting with the truck, the two suspects, the dog, who owned Dozer, and everything that went with that.

We would like to thank Dozer’s angel, for taking such wonderful care of Dozer. He was involved in a very traumatic event and needed to be able to relax and feel safe. Dozer felt very safe with her.

If not for those who stopped at the scene of this accident, who contacted FLED, along with those who felt they knew who the dog was, we would not have known the real story.

Dozer’s angel, who took him home, did a body examination of him and we were quite prepared to take him to the vet if needed. He showed no signs of physical trauma but was very emotionally affected by all this.

We would like to thank the Oceanside RCMP, the Duncan RCMP, the eyewitnesses who came forward with the information to help clear the fog.

We are unable to name names as some are witnesses to the truck rollover, as well as the suspects jumping on a dirt bike and leaving the scene and could be called as court witnesses.

One thing we will say is what wonderful FLED volunteers we have in the Duncan, Ladysmith, and Nanaimo areas.

Those who came forward and gave information were truly amazing and wanted only the best for Dozer.
