PSA - DOG PARKS - ANYWHERE - OCTOBER 5, 2020 -- THIS DOG WILL RECOVER
I TOTALLY AGREE DOG PARKS ARE NEEDING SOME REGULATIONS. People need to sign in, in order to enter any dog parks. When they sign in, they must provide their Name, Phone Number and produce their Drivers License for the Number. The volunteer taking the information can take a photo of the dog and the person who is bringing the dog in. IF their dog causes damage to another dog THE OWNER is responsible.

**UPDATE: 'Ranger' is being taken care of by Shepherds without Borders Rescue. Thank you VCA Salem Animal Hospital for helping this little guy!
DISDAINFUL COMMENTS AGAINST THE PREVIOUS OWNERS OR THE VET WILL BE DELETED.**
A local German Shepherd rescue just got a request to take in a 15 week old puppy who was violently attacked at a dog park - resulting in the amputation of his front leg. The owners signed the dog over to the vet (who luckily absorbed the cost). A lot of times in this situation the owner is solely responsible for the vet bill or the dog is euthanized. This is just ONE recent traumatic incident involving dog parks, and just ONE reason we don't recommend them under any circumstance.
