Hi guys. 1:40 pm today (Aug 1) we almost hit a dog on shawnigan lake road. It ran out from highland ridge road onto the busy Shawnigan lake road chasing a truck was almost hit by several cars until we slowed traffic. The dog then ran down owl road where we happened to flag down a passing police car. The dog disappeared into the bush on owl road. Not be seen again. Myself and the police and some other nice people trying to locate it but no luck. Cream colord, medium size (50/60 lbs) long hair slim build dog.
