CRD Animal Shelter
We received a report of a deceased dog in Francis King Regional Park, our CRD Bylaw Enforcement Officer attended and after a lengthy hike into the park, located a deceased Yellow Lab (neutered male). With the assistance of a CRD Park Ranger, they were able to retrieve the dog and bring it out of the park safely. Unfortunately, the dog was not wearing identification and does not have a microchip or tattoo. If you believe this dog is yours, please contact the CRD Animal Shelter at animalshelter@crd.bc.ca.
We will not be responding to inquiries at this time but we can confirm that there are no indications of abuse, harm, or neglect.
Should you wish to contribute to the cremation costs of this animal in the event an owner is not found, please email us for further information.
